Happy New Year!

Hello everyone,

Wishing you all a Happy New Year. I’m excited for the fresh new start that the calendar year is affording, but which also seems to be naturally coming to my life at this time.

I’ve spent the last couple of weeks finishing up my undergraduate degree, hosting family and friends for the holidays and preparing for a wonderful new year of blogging. This year I am going to try something a little different.

There will still be the occasional random post (like this one) but I am going to try to stick a little more closely to my regular review type posts. I have purchased the domain for this blog and will hosting advertisements, via adsense. I know, I know, another blog with ads. I promise not to go crazy though. I hate those websites where ads completely block the content just as much as you. And if we’re being honest, WordPress reserves the right to post advertisements to any blogs that it hosts anyway, so this site hasn’t been completely clear of ads all along. Now I’m the one who is in control of which ads appear.

This last week has had some days fill with lots and lots of work, but I’ve spent most of the New Year holidays and weekends relaxing. Movies and books galore! I’m going to be posting lots of reviews in the next month and am excite to continue building this site … and hopefully fostering a sense of community! Please don’t be afraid to comment.
